Thin rectangular channels are formed between various plates, and heat exchange is carried out through the plates. Compared with the conventional shell - and - tube heat exchanger, under the same flow resistance and pump power consumption, its heat transfer coefficient is much higher. In the applicable range, it has a trend of replacing the shell - and - tube heat exchanger. The types of plate heat exchangers mainly include two categories: frame - type (detachable) and brazed - type. The plate forms mainly include three types: chevron corrugated plates, horizontal straight corrugated plates, and tuberculated plates.
